How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at our Longview custom towing mirrors on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. As you can see, taking a look from the driver's perspective in the rear view mirror, this is where your visibility is with the stock mirror. So you notice you have a pretty good amount of space, but you don't have a full picture of the lanes next to you. Adding your towing mirror gives you this wider perspective so you can see more of what's going on behind you, and it just gives you an extra measure of safety. So let's take a closer look at our mirror itself. It's constructed of PVC plastic, which is gonna hold up against the elements, UV light, and the weather as far as the heat and the cold. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Snap and Zap towing mirrors from K-Source on our 2024 GMC Sierra 1500. As you can see, using your OEM mirror from the driver's side perspective, you still have plenty of field of view where you can see what's going on behind you, but adding that additional towing mirror is gonna give you that additional visibility and safety to see the whole picture of everything behind you, even traffic from the middle of the next lane. So it can be very helpful and safe to just add that addition when you pull in a trailer. Let's take a closer look at the materials and some of the features that make the snap and zap a little bit better as far as your towing mirrors. The coolest thing about it, it's all one piece. There's no screws or hooks or anything that you need to attach it to your vehicle. more

This is an example of the positioning from the driver's perspective. You can see with the OEM mirror, you can get a pretty good view of what's going on behind you on the trailer. However, adding the additional towing mirror is gonna give you a wider perspective of the whole scene of the road, what's going on behind you. So this would, for demonstration purposes, would be full visibility in an entire different lane, so you'll know everything going on behind your vehicle for safety. Hi, Matt with etrailer, and today we're talking about our Longview custom fit towing mirrors on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. This is gonna be a great option for you if you want to help haul anything in more of a safe fashion. So let's check it out. So what I'm gonna do first is just show you how to put 'em on because they are really quick and easy to do. All I gotta do is line up this interior of the towing mirror with our mirror and it'll have an LH to let you know for the driver's side and an RH for the passenger side. We're just gonna slide this so it fits around the contours of our mirror until it feels pretty snug. more

Hi everyone, Aidan here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and be showing you how to install the CIPA custom fit towing mirrors on our 2024 Ram 1500. Now the main feature here is that these are custom fit. All the plastics are gonna be custom molded to fit around the different shapes and contours of your Ram and it gives you a pretty solid fit overall. But one thing to note about this one compared to some other options like the ones from Longview or K-Source is that our RAM has turn signals on the factory mirrors and those different towing mirrors had cutouts so you could still see them, whereas this is one solid piece. You're gonna lose those features on your Ram if you have them. more

So the big thing here is that these are custom fit, which just means all the plastic is custom molded to match the shape of your mirror. Anywhere where you've got factory blinkers or puddle lights on the bottom, you've got these cutouts and windows so you can still see them from your factory mirror, both on the front and on the bottom. So you can still have those factory features while having the towing mirror on. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Longview Custom Fit Towing Mirrors on our 2024 Ram 1500. So the main feature here is that these are custom fit, which means all the plastic is custom molded to go around the mirror of your Ram. And there's some special cutouts like here for our turn signals, so you don't have to sacrifice that feature on your mirrors and other drivers can still see what you're doing. It's a pretty simple installation too, just wrapping around the mirror with this lip here and clamping onto the edge on the inside. more

Hey guys, this is Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2023 Ford F-150, and we're gonna be taking a look at the K Source Clip-on towing mirrors. Now, when it comes to towing mirrors, the biggest benefit is what we're gonna show you right now. When you're towing a trailer that's long like this, a lot of times you can't see the entire load in your factory mirror or you're focusing your factory mirror on your trailer and you're not able to see much to the next lane, if you need to change lanes, that's where these towing mirrors are gonna come in handy. So you can see me in our factory mirror right now, but if I move what were to be the next lane or two lanes over, you can still see me in our towing mirror and you can't see me anymore in the factory mirror. This is the dangers of not having a set of towing mirrors when you're pulling a load down the highway. more

Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K-Source Snap and Zap custom fit towing mirrors here on a 2017 Toyota Sequoia. Now for starters, in regards to fit, you need to be aware that these particular custom fit towing mirrors do not fit the platinum or the limited models. But every other model or sub model, you're gonna be good with whether it's the SR5, the SR, or so forth. So here is what our towing mirrors look like installed in the vehicle. And to be honest, if you didn't know what a towing mirror was, you probably wouldn't be able to tell this apart from the factory mirrors, and that's due to the custom fit design here. CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2017 Toyota Sequoia- Video
Hey, everybody, how's it goin' Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the CIPA custom fit towing mirrors here on our 2017 Toyota Sequoia. So, for starters, in regards to fit, these are only gonna fit the SR5 models, but thankfully that's the most common trim level, so it's gonna fit the majority of Sequoias out there. Unfortunately for you Platinum and Limited owners these are gonna be not a fit. You'll have to look at other options, such as the universal ones. So here's what our towing mirrors look like installed. Now, right away you're gonna notice it's the same material as the factory side mirror molding, so it's gonna provide us with the best overall factory-like appearance. more

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors Installation - 2008 GMC Sierra- Video
Today on our 2008 GMC Sierra, we're gonna be taking a look at the Longview custom-fit towing mirrors. Before I go over features, they don't look too bad. You know, they do have a decent amount of knobs and stuff on the sides, but the AVS plastic really does match the OEM look. You can't really tell a whole lot of difference. And if you can tell a little bit of difference, you gotta remember this is an older vehicle, and these are brand new. So this is a little bit glossier, but the whole finish to it is the same. more

Hey everyone, how's it going Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the K-Source Snap & Zap Custom Fit Towing Mirrors here on a 2020 Toyota Tundra. Now let's show you how well they really work. So, I'm just standing directly beside the trailer here. You can see I'm easily visible in the factory mirror, so not a problem. Where the problem arises is, if I step out a couple feet here sort of mirroring your blind spot, let's say we're traveling out on the highway, we need to get over to get our exit but we really can't see what's going on in the other lane beside our trailer. So these are where these towing mirrors, in my opinion at least, really come into play the most. more

So towing mirrors are gonna be an excellent addition to your pickup truck here if you find yourselves to be towing frequently. And as you'll soon come to find out, the factory mirrors just simply don't cut it. Adding these towing mirrors here are gonna overall make you feel much more safer in control of your rig while you're towing. Now, what these simply do is they're gonna extend your field of view so you can see your trailer and you can see what's around your trailer much better than the factory mirrors. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors on our 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. This is gonna help you see a little bit better whenever you're backing up or just hauling longer loads, and it does come in a pair of two, so you're gonna get the passenger's side and the driver's side. Not only is the extra towing mirror gonna help you see the longer loads that you may be hauling, it's also not for you, but for the other people on the road. There's a lot of people on the highway, and being able to see the people coming up on your sides, so whenever you're merging, turning, stuff like that, it's just gonna keep everybody more safe, and it's gonna keep you from white-knuckling the wheel, wondering what's going on, now, you know. What secures this to our mirror is this soft and durable rubber strap. We've had these down here for a couple years now, and they've held up, so they're not cracking or anything like that. more

Today, we're taking a look at the K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirror on the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. Comes in a pack of two, they increase your field of view. Both mirrors are independently adjustable, let's see how they look. So your standard mirrors are going to allow you to see down the side of your vehicle all the way to the end of your trailer, but with your towing mirrors, it is going to expand your field of view, allowing you to see the other vehicles in the other lanes, so not only is it going to give you the peace of mind, allowing you to back in and park easier and safer, it's going to allow you to switch lanes, and just overall keep everybody a lot safer. So you have two mirrors here, a convex and a flat side, the flat side is going to extend your field of view of your standard mirror, and the convex is going to give you a wide angle view, allowing you to have a really precise parking. This mirror is gonna be 7 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/8 inches tall, and they are adjustable up and down, left to right. more

This is gonna be a slip-on towing mirror. So, what this means is it's gonna slide over your existing towing mirror and attach with this clamp here. Just one clamp that you tighten down, it holds it in place. I can shake the mirror back and forth and you can see there's no rattling or movement from the separate added on mirror. more

Today, we're taking a look at the K source universal towing mirrors on our 2020 Ford F150 The mirrors on our Ford F150 are pretty big. The one on the factory mirror of our F150 is a flat mirror. And as you can see as I go over, I seem to be a little bit more far away with the universal K source mirror, and that's just because of the shape of the mirror. And when it comes to towing mirrors, it's not just about you being able to see what you're hauling, it's also about other people as well. So you're gonna be able to see those people in the other lanes a little bit more clear.
